Guilherme BALDO
Porto Alegre, Brazil
Dr. Baldo received his Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil, and is currently an Associate Professor of Physiology at UFRGS. His research work is directed at mechanisms of lysosomal storage disorders, as well as development of treatments for these diseases, focusing on gene therapy and gene editing. He is an Investigator of the Brazilian National Research Council (CNPq) level 1D and member of the National Biosafety Committee (CTNBio).
